Thai-Scandic Steel or TSS is Thailand’s leading manufacturer of galvanized steel
structures,supplying transmission line tower,telecommunication towers, substation
structures and a host of general industrial steel structures for both local and
global market. Based in the Maptaput Industrial Estate in Rayong,
Thai Scandic Steel operates a fully integrated manufacturing plant offering
a comprehensive range of complete engineering design, and fabrication facilities
including hot-dip galvanizing and modular packing service. Since starting commercial
operation on 26 June 1992, TSS has supplied almost 300,000 tons of various steel
structures to more than 40 countries worldwide.
Established Thai-Scandic Steel (TSS) with a registered share capital 100 MB. through a joint venture between Berli Jucker Public Company Limited and 2 Norwegian companies which are Jarlso Fabrikker and A.S. Betomast.
TSS began trial operation on a contract with the EGAT to supply steel structures for two power substation.
TSS approved the product registration of Galvanized steel structure for high voltage power transmission line and substation by Thai Industrial Standards Institute.
TSS has been operating as BJC subsidiary with registered shared capital of 586 MB.
TSS has complemented the quality managements system ISO9001:2000 certified by SGS United Kingdom Public.
TSS has complemented the Environmental management System ISO14001:1996 by Bureau Veritas.
TSS has complemented the quality managements system ISO9001:2008 by Bureau Veritas.
TSS has complemented Occupational Health and Safety Management system OHSAS18001:2007 certified by Bureau Veritas.
TSS Have been being a member of Thai Galvanizing Association.
TSS is awarded Certificate on the occasion of 5 Million LTI free safe man-hours achieved on Mar 26,2015 by EPC Contractor for Linear Alkyl Benzene Project of LABIX Company Ltd., Sriracha, Thailand.
TSS is awarded Certificate of Green Industry in Level no. 3 by Ministry of Industry.
